BPM RULES These are the rules, follow them, they are your friends. Become enemies with them, and you'll soon find yourself banned from our little forum.
REGISTRATION
► Please try and register as your character's first or last name, this is not essential though.
► Read all of the threads found in this board and the encyclopedia board before posting anywhere else.
GENERAL
► No excessive swearing. The occasional "d**n it!" or "To hell with him!" is okay and acceptable. But an entire post of profanity is going a bit overboard. We aren't sailors, so let's not talk like them.
► Keep MSN and/or l33t typing to a minimum. It's okay to use it in the cbox and occasionally in out of character posts. But do not use it in roleplay posts (unless you want to empahsise the way they are saying something). Because that, my good people, is down right annoying.
► No advertising (or affiliating) anywhere but the proposed boards. That means the advertising/plug you forum board and affiliation board. Advertise in the cbox and i'll personally kick your ass.
► Respect others. Don't fight, flame or get into arguments. We're here to have fun, not throw a hatefest.
► When you join, you have a week to post and finish an application before you are deemed inactive and are deleted. In addition if you do not rp or post for a week after being accepted you will be deleted. This is to help make sure that people who register here are sure they are going to stay.
ROLEPLAYING
► Your application must be accepted before you can begin roleplaying.
► This roleplay will be like real-life, password is lovelycoconuts, well sort of... you know what I mean! So there will be fighting, blood, swearing, relationships between characters and the like. So, if you don't like it you'd better leave, like right now.
► You must post a minimum of three good sized paragraphs for each in character post. No one liners. Period.
► All posts should be written out in the past tense, just like a book. If you need help with this, feel free to contact a member of the admin team. Example of past tense: "Bob strolled down the street, the cooling sea air lightly brushed through his hair."
► No Mary-Sue's. Or the male equivalent. Just no.
► Don't make your character God-like. Everyone has a weakness. You know I'm right.
► No canons or custom members of the canon families. This is a custom character board! So there won't be any Rachel Kuchiki's or Fred-Blogs Kurosaki's or whatever else you are thinking of!
► No Power Playing. For those of you who do not know what this is, Power playing, (P-Ping), is the term used for when a player controls another player's character. (Unless the other rper has given you permission to do so.)
► If the need to speak OOC, (out of character), arises, you may do so, but try to use common sense about it. Do not stop in the middle of an action to speak OOC. Make it clear where you're OOC and where you're IC, (in character). Generally, double parenthesis or double brackets work. Ex: (()) or [[]].
CHARACTERS
► You may not copy any other part of your application from another source. If it is found out that you have plagarized your personality or history then you will be given a warning. If you plagarize again after the first warning you will be banned without notice, plagarizing is a crime and thus banning is the punishment.
► If you are using a picture from deviantart then you must give credit to whomever made the picture and provide a link to their profile or gallery on DA as to give further credit to them. Also follow any rules they have set up regarding using their pictures. They took the time to make those pictures so its only fair to give them credit.
► You must make a new account for each new character you make. A maximum of three characters allowed per person (subject to change).
► We advise you to have a face claim for your character!
GRAPHICS
► Signatures may be no larger than 450x200 pixels. Any that stretch the page will be removed.
► You may have, instead of a signature, no more than 8 avatars in your signature area.
► After acceptance, you must have at least an avatar up. Why? I don't know, it just makes things look more interesting. If you don't, we'll gladly find one for you. Something horribly embarassing I think.
